Chance to Win $500 Monthly

(Riverside, Calif.) March 1, 2013 – Every time an Altura Credit Union Member makes a purchase using their Altura Debit Card they have a chance to win $500. The more a Member swipes a card for purchases, the more entries they have to win.

“The ‘You’re Gonna Love This Card!’ promotion launched in January,” said Jennifer Binkley, chief operating officer, Altura. “One monthly winner of $500 will be drawn every month through December.”

Binkley explained that the promotion is designed to create awareness that an Altura Visa® Debit Card is a convenient way to make routine purchases. “Withdrawing cash from your account is just one aspect of a debit card,” Binkley said. “But with a fee-free Altura debit card, you get all the convenience of a credit card without the ‘pay later’ downside.”

To be eligible, members need an Altura checking account with a Visa Debit Card. Members also have to register their debit card online, by phone or in an Altura branch to participate in the promotion. Registration is only needed once. Members who open a new checking account with a Visa Debit Card get 10 extra chances to win.
