E-Waste Recycling Event Benefits Moreno Valley High School PTSA
Collection Event Feb. 9 & 10 at Altura Credit Union’s Riverside Headquarters(Riverside, Calif.) Jan. 22, 2013 – Recycle unwanted electronic devices like old laptops, cell phones and printers at an e-waste recycling event on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 9 and 10, in Riverside. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., e-waste items can be dropped off at the headquarters of Altura Credit Union, 2847 Campus Parkway. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Moreno Valley High School PTSA. Most consumer electronic devices and related accessories can be recycled as e-waste, whether in working or non-working condition. Among the items that will be accepted at the event are: computer monitors, televisions, PC systems, laptops, printers, copiers, scanners, fax machines, toner cartridges, cellular phones and home entertainment units. The following cannot be accepted at this event: refrigerators, washers, dryers, fluorescent light bulbs and household batteries. Microwave Ovens are accepted, but there is a $5 service fee.
