(Riverside, Calif.) March 5, 2013
– Two Riverside residents recently won $500 from Altura Credit Union for simply using their Altura Visa® Debit Card to make a purchase. Their win is part of an ongoing promotion by Altura to point out the conveniences of having and using a debit card for everyday purchases.
Judy Andrews and Mitchell Mazzolini won $500 each after their names were drawn as part of Altura’s ‘You’re Gonna Love This Card!’ promotion launched in January.
Every time an Altura Credit Union Member makes a purchase using their Altura Debit Card they are entered for a chance to win the cash prize. The more a Member swipes a card for purchases, the more entries they have to win. One winner will be drawn each month from February through December, but two were drawn in January to kick off the promotion.
According to Andrews, she has been an Altura member longer than she can recall. The in-home care provider told Altura she was “ecstatic and this couldn’t come at a better time.”
Mazzolini, also from Riverside, has a young daughter. He has a free iChecking account with Altura, and no plans yet for the money.
To be eligible for this promotion, members need an Altura Visa Debit Card and a checking account. They also must register their card through Altura’s website to participate in the promotion.
