Information Everyone Needs for Retirement Planning

Complimentary Altura Credit Union Workshop March 20 in Riverside

(Riverside, Calif.) March 8, 2013 – Everyone faces financial challenges in life, such as buying a new car or that first family home. Many people, however, feel they lack the tools and information to plan for retirement. A complimentary workshop, “Retirement Planning,” is being offered on Wednesday, March 20, from 7 to 8:15 a.m., as part of “Breakfast With Altura,” an educational series.

The workshop will be led by the Wealth Management Department of Altura Credit Union through its broker-dealer partner CUSO Financial Services, LP*.

Workshop attendees will learn about their options for retirement planning, including:

• Creating a P.L.A.N. for retirement

• Workplace retirement plans and individual retirement accounts

• Maximizing contributions

• Investment options

• Tax-deferred investing

• Diversification in your investment portfolio

• Working with a financial professional

• The importance of regular financial reviews

• How a retirement planning checklist can be a roadmap for success

“Retirement Planning” is the second in a series of workshops scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month, all at Altura’s headquarters, 2847 Campus Parkway, Riverside. Workshops are open to Members and non-Members alike. Upcoming topics include: auto buying basics, resume writing tips, first-time home buying and more.
