E-Statements

Q: How do I sign up for and access credit union E-Statements?

A: By enrolling in Online Banking, you are automatically signing up for e-statements. To access your e-statement, once you have logged in, select the E-Statements link located below your name and account number in the upper right of the screen. Once you have agreed to the Electronic Disclosure you will be enrolled in E-Statement delivery.

Q: I just enrolled in Online Banking and E-Statements, but I don’t see that my of my statements past statements are available.

A: Your first E-Statement will come on the first week of the month following the date that you sign up. So long as you enroll prior to the first day of the month, you will receive an e-statement for that month.

Your statements will begin archiving from the date that you enroll.

Q: Do I have to be an Online Home Banking member of Altura Credit Union to view statements online?

A: Yes, you must be enrolled in Altura’s Online Banking to view your statements. For your protection, statements are maintained in a secure environment which requires you to login to your account and access them.

Q: Will I receive notification when my statement is available?

A: You will receive an e-mail to notify you that your statement is ready to view online. The e-mail notification is sent within the first week of the month, typically, the first day of the month. If you are not receiving an e-mail here are some possible solutions:

  • Check to be sure your e-mail system is set to accept e-mail from alturacu.com. You may want to check your junk mail folder as well.
  • You may not have an accurate e-mail address on the system. Login to Online Banking, select “My Settings” then select “Change My Address.” Select the Primary member on the account and update the e-mail address.

Q: Will my electronic statements look the same as my regular printed statements?

A: Your electronic statements look similar to your printed statements and will contain all the information that you previously received by mail. An added benefit of an e-statement is the ability to view check images straight from your statement by simply clicking on a check number.

Q: How will I receive the inserts and opt-out that normally come with my printed statements?

A: Any offers that are normally sent by mail via statement messages are also available through our web site. They will be prominently displayed through a banner ad on the web site, or through a banner within your e-statement.

On an annual basis we send notification for opting-out of direct mail campaigns, fee notices, etc. These will always be available through your e-statement as well.

A: To resolve possible statement discrepancies, contact Member Service at 1-888-883-7228.

Q: How can I make a change so that my statements will be mailed to me?

A: As an online banker, e-statements are the preferred option of delivery both for security reasons and cost-savings reasons. However, we understand that at times it is preferred to receive your statement in the mail. You can switch between e-statements and regular statements at any time by selecting “My Settings” then “My E-statements” when you are logged into Online Banking.
