You must have an initial deposit of at least $1,000. However, an IRA certificate has tiered rates, meaning that as your account balance increases, so does the interest rate.
Altura Credit Union lets you choose from terms of 3, 6, 12, 24, 36, 48, or 60 months. After your account reaches maturity, you have a grace period of seven calendar days to withdraw your funds. If you fail to do so, the account will automatically renew for the same term at the current rate.
