Altura Credit Union is excited to introduce Cyber Awareness, a new feature available within Online Banking and the Altura Mobile App. This helpful tool is designed to help you better understand your cyber awareness, identify potential areas of risk, and learn simple steps to help protect your identity and financial information.

Cybersecurity is an important part of everyday banking. From phishing emails and suspicious text messages to password protection and multifactor authentication, small actions can make a big difference in helping you stay safe online.

What You Can Do with Cyber Awareness

With the Cyber Awareness feature, you can:

  • Complete an Awareness Assessment to better understand your cyber awareness level
  • Review Exposures and personalized Recommendations to strengthen your online safety
  • Learn helpful tips for protecting your identity and financial information
  • Build safer habits when using digital tools, accounts, and services

Fraudsters and cybercriminals are constantly changing their tactics. They may use emails, text messages, phone calls, fake websites, or urgent messages to try to get you to share personal information, click a suspicious link, or provide access to your accounts.
