Small Business Empowerment Grant

Applications Now Open!

The Altura Foundation’s bi-annual Small Business Empowerment Grant program provides financial capital and resources to support economic growth, community impact, and long-term business success through $10,000 grants to locally-owned small businesses.

Eligible grant recipients are for-profit small businesses that:

  • Are based in Riverside County
  • Have 10 or fewer employees
  • Have been in business for at least two years
  • Demonstrate financial stability
  • Provide a valuable product and/or service to the local community

Additional weight is given to businesses/business owners who have membership relationship with Altura Credit Union and are actively aligned with Altura’s values of serving the underserved and promoting overall wellness.

This year the Foundation is looking to award five grants in the amount of $10,000 each.

Applications will be accepted August 3 – September 7, 2026. Awardees will be announced in October.

The Foundation lives out this mission through programs that support and promote education and overall wellness.
